Even though some people choose to bite the hand that feeds them, God still chooses to feed them. Without the common grace that God freely gives to everyone, humanity would be completely lost physically, mentally, and morally. This is true for all people, regardless if they recognize it or not. However, this is especially apparent for Christians, because they know the TRUE SOURCE of all things in this life and the life to come, namely, Christ. Christians should be willing to do anything necessary to obtain (i.e. work out - Phil. 2:12) godliness because we know how much we need it and we know the Living God who can and will provide it to us freely.
